Selkirk Vanguard Power Air Premium Pickleball Paddle

The VANGUARD Power Air is the result of over two years of Research & Development, done in collaboration with top Pickleball professionals like Tyson McGuffin. This paddle was designed to address the growing need for power and spin in the sport. Over the past two years, professional Pickleball has placed a greater emphasis on power and spin, and the wider community has also recognized the benefits of these attributes in dominating opponents on the court. The VANGUARD Power Air technology was created specifically to cater to these players, providing them with a paddle that gives them complete control over the court, with the ability to deliver powerful shots and maximum spin.

The initial version of this technology, known as Project 002, was developed in Selkirk Labs and subsequently launched. Taking into account feedback from Lab members, Power Air has been optimized to offer even more control, thanks to the SuperCore feature. The 360° Proto Molding technology ensures enhanced consistency, while the Aero-DuraEdge Edgeless technology improves aerodynamics and edge durability.

The Epic paddle shape combines a traditional Pickleball design with a larger surface area and a longer handle, striking the right balance between power and control. It is a versatile paddle that suits both beginners and seasoned professionals, offering them the ideal playing experience.

The Air Dynamic Throat, which was also developed in Selkirk Labs during Project 002, has been further refined to increase swing speed. It is now larger and closer to the handle, enabling optimal air flow and enhancing ball control.

Our ProSpin+ NextGen Micro Texture technology, formulated in Selkirk Labs, is designed to generate more spin than any other technology on the market. It offers a longer-lasting spin surface, ensuring consistent performance and enabling players to shape and control the ball effortlessly.

The 360° Proto Molding technology provides complete coverage of the paddle with composite materials, utilizing a high-pressure manufacturing process. This generates the ultimate power while maintaining a consistent feel throughout the game.

Our FlexFoam Perimeter technology, originally developed in Selkirk Labs for Project 002, injects specially formulated foam into the entire perimeter of the paddle. This not only increases durability but also adds weight, enlarges the sweet spot, and absorbs vibrations from each hit, resulting in a stable and reliable playing experience.
